Sales Closer Course: Prices, Reviews & Better Alternatives

How much does a sales closer course cost, if it's worth it, and cheaper ways to start without spending thousands of euros.

By the Ventaka team · Published on · 7 min read

A sales closer course in Spain costs between €2,500 and €3,500 with the most well-known training programs, paid in full or financed, and usually lasts 7 to 8 weeks. There are much cheaper alternatives, but before comparing prices it's worth answering one question: do you want to work as a self-employed closer for online businesses, or do you want a sales job with an employment contract? The answer changes which training makes sense.

What does a sales closer do

The closer enters at the end of the sales process: the person has already shown interest (because a setter contacted them or they asked for information) and the closer runs the call where the purchase decision is made. They resolve objections, help with the decision, and ask for the close. In our closer job guide you'll find the day-to-day work, interview questions, and salary.

In Spain, "closer" is used mainly in the world of info products and high-ticket services: mentorships, training programs, coaching, or agencies. There you're almost always paid on commission. The academies themselves talk about commissions around 10% of each sale: if you close a €2,000 program, you earn about €200.

How much does a closer course cost in Spain

  • High-ticket closer programs with live sessions and community: between €2,500 and €3,500 depending on the edition and format, according to published reviews of the most well-known Spanish course.
  • Online courses with certificate: from a few hundred euros, usually without practice or job board.
  • 3 to 6-month mentorships: sold per call and the price is usually not public.
  • Sales practice apps: €8 to €25 per month.

Watch out for "review" pages: many of the ones that rank first on Google earn commission if you buy the course through their link. They're not neutral reviews.

How many closer job offers are there in Spain

At Ventaka we collect sales job offers daily from portals and company websites. Since September 24, 2026, 5,984 sales job offers have been posted in Spain and only 3 were for setter or closer positions. In the same period there were 176 for SDR or BDR roles.

The conclusion isn't that there's no closer work, but that it's not published as a job posting: you get it through contacts, communities, and direct outreach to online businesses. If you want a contract with a fixed plus variable salary, the most-posted positions are SDR, BDR, and account executive, which also close sales.

Is it worth paying €3,000 for a closer course?

It can be worth it if three conditions are met at the same time:

  1. You're clear that you want to be a self-employed closer on commission, and you know the first months can mean low income.
  2. The course includes lots of corrected practice (real or simulated calls with feedback), not just videos.
  3. They give you in writing the total price, financing terms, and how they help you find clients.

If these aren't met, the smartest thing is to learn the basics and practice for little money, test the role, and decide later. What really makes you a good closer is practicing many closing conversations and getting feedback on them, and that doesn't require paying thousands of euros.

Before you pay, check this

  • Price and financing in writing. If they pressure you to decide on the same call, stop.
  • Right to cancel. In Spain you have 14 days to cancel an online purchase, but with digital content you lose this right if you accept starting before that period ends.
  • Promised income. Ask for the average of students, not the best case.
  • What happens with the job board. Ask for concrete, recent examples.

We explain this in more detail in 9 signs a sales course isn't worth what it costs.

How to start as a closer this week

  1. Learn the structure of a closing call: opening, diagnosis, proposal, objections, and close.
  2. Practice the most common objections ("it's expensive," "I need to think about it," "I need to talk to my partner") until you can answer them calmly.
  3. Read how to work as a sales closer from scratch to prepare your profile and your first contacts.
  4. At the same time, apply for SDR or account executive positions: it's the route with the most job offers and gives you closing experience with a contract.

In Ventaka you can practice closing calls with a simulated customer who raises real objections, see today's sales job offers, and follow a daily path with Cal. You get 3 days free: start here.
